About Us

The Monte San Giuliano restaurant in Erice was founded in 1990 by two partners, Andrea Coppola and Matteo Giurlanda, who have been welcoming their guests courteously and professionally for 30 years. Three internal rooms plus the garden open during the summer make the Monte San Giuliano restaurant a comfortable place to spend your evenings enjoying good food. The chef Matteo Giurlanda, enrolled in the register of the Italian Chefs Federation, has made the genuineness of the products his strong point, combining the freshness of the products (think of the fresh homemade pasta) with the typical Mediterranean flavours. You are starting from the specific Trapani recipes up to ranging within the flavours of the Mediterranean basin: oil, almonds, olives, pistachios, garlic, tuna products and more. But at the Monte San Giuliano restaurant, you can also experience the innovative search for tastes and flavours that chef Matteo Giurlanda mixes with wise experience, offering unique flavours for your palate. All are accompanied by a vast cellar that includes the best labels of Sicilian wines and more.
