Vitantonio Lombardo Ristorante takes its name from its Chef to communicate a strong sense of familiarity, allowing each guest to feel at home. A cave in the Sassi district left to its natural charm on purpose, based on a project by the architect Alessandro Tortorelli and the desire of Vitantonio, who chose Matera inspired by a place where the cavities and convexities of the stone can honestly give life to timeless taste experiences. Here the chef Vitantonio Lombardo welcomes the customers of the restaurant in Matera with a "Heart, Head, Belly" Tasting Menu, which includes the dishes that have marked the path taken up to now, punctually flanked by new creations aimed at the future. Plates are united by the desire to give new sensations to the palate and stimulate the senses in a journey from fish to meat, passing through the land.
